Data Sources & Editorial Standards

Maintained by SG Arrivals · Reviewed 29 September 2026

SG Arrivals combines live transport tools with practical commuter guides. This page explains what the service publishes, how it distinguishes live data from editorial guidance, and how readers can report an issue.

Our publishing approach

The SG Arrivals Editorial Team writes guides for people planning real trips in Singapore. We prioritise first-party sources from the Land Transport Authority, Public Transport Council, rail operators, Changi Airport, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and transport operators. We do not publish copied operator text, auto-generated destination pages, or fixed claims about live conditions that can change between visits.

Every guide shows a reviewed date, source links and a route into the relevant SG Arrivals tool. Where a fact is time-sensitive—such as fares, first and last trains, bus routing, airport arrangements, service disruptions or checkpoint congestion—we explain the limit and link to a current official source.

Live data, estimates and editorial information

Live bus information is sourced through LTA DataMall. Arrival times and load information are estimates and may change because of traffic, operational conditions or data availability. MRT timing in SG Arrivals is an estimate based on the service information available to the app. Flight information may come from a third-party aviation data provider. Editorial guides are not a substitute for an operator announcement, a station display, an airline notice, or a government travel requirement.

Before a time-critical journey, check the latest LTA, operator, airport or ICA notices. SG Arrivals does not provide immigration, visa, legal, medical, financial or safety advice.

Review and correction process

We review a guide when an authoritative source changes or when a reader reports a material issue. We also target a periodic review of evergreen guides at least twice a year. A refreshed reviewed date means the article was checked and materially maintained; it does not turn an estimate or external timetable into a guarantee.

To report a correction, missing source, broken link or accessibility problem, use the feedback form in Settings. Include the guide URL and, where possible, the authoritative source that supports the correction.
